out. I smiled and said "We'll see". Since I am a labor and delivery
nurse, I know if I have no complications that my belly ring will not
interfere. So far, I am 30 weeks, and only now am needing the extra
length. I am confident I will be delivering with my ring in place.

I was glad my nursing journal (AHWONN) had an
article recommending your website for those who need maternity jewelry.
No stores in town carried longer rings for me to use, and only a few
had plastic ones for surgery. I appreciate the
fun maternity dangles. I am proud of my beautiful growing baby belly and
the dangles are one way to show it off this summer.

i asked my obgyn last time i was pregnant and he said
there was no reason in the world that they would harm me or the baby,
and my piercer (yes, i live next door to mine so i can talk to him
regularly) said that this was a great idea and put your cards in his
store, both of them said that the only reason they recommend taking out
the metal ones is for aestetics (if the hard ring is in and your
piercing stretches, it turns dark) and comfort, but no actual medical
reasons.

I just received my piercing in the mail today. I have
had my belly pierced for seven years and did not want to have to take it
out and have it close up, but there are not to many options when your
belly is expanding due to the baby inside:]

My midwife told me that dental floss is just as
good and doesn't cost any money really. But what's the point in having a
tummy you want to show off if there is string dangling from your navel?
